Đúng như tên gọi của mình, chiếc điện thoại của Sharp có thiết kế rất giống một chiếc bánh qui, kể cả thiết kế bên ngoài lẫn giao diện người dùng bên trong. Trước đây, Sharp đã từng sản xuất khá nhiều điện thoại sô cô la và giờ đây là điện thoại bánh quy. Sản phẩm mới của họ có màn hình 3,2 inch 480x854, camera CCD 9,6MP, màn hình phụ OLED 1,4 inch và có thể chống nước theo tiêu chuẩn IPX5/IPX7. Số lượng sản phẩm bánh quy này sẽ được giới hạn chỉ 15000 máy và do nhà mạng NTT Docomo phân phối với 2 bản sữa và sô cô la.
Nhà mạng Verizon Wireless, Mỹ hôm nay đã thông báo chính thức bán ra Motorola Droid 2 Global, phiên bản quốc tế của chiếc Droid 2. Theo giá bán được liệt kê trên trang bán hàng của Verizon, Droid 2 Global sẽ có giá 299USD kèm hợp đồng hai năm, mức giá này chưa bao gồm khoản trừ 100USD theo dạng mail-in, tức nếu đã trừ, bạn chỉ phải bỏ ra 199USD cho Droid 2 Global. Đó là với bản khóa mạng, bản không khóa mạng sẽ được Verizon bán ra với giá là 559USD. Droid 2 Global như đã nói sẽ xuất hiện dưới hai màu sắc gồm trắng và đen.
